Priority will be given to first-time applicants. Awardees are expected to attend the entire conference.

The Nineteenth Symposium on Usable Privacy and Security (SOUPS 2023) will take place at the Anaheim Marriott in Anaheim, CA, USA, on August 6–8, 2023. SOUPS brings together an interdisciplinary group of researchers and practitioners in human-computer interaction, security, and privacy.

Pre-Application Information
Submission deadline: Monday, June 26, 2023

- As part of the student grant application, the student's faculty advisor must complete a form supporting the request for funds.

- Every effort is made to send out notifications to student grant applicants approximately two weeks after the grant application deadline and before the conference's Early Bird deadline. All applicants will be notified - both those who are being awarded a grant and those who are not - of their application status.

- Applicants are expected to attend the three full days of the main Conference Program, and agree to be contacted by USENIX and grant program sponsors about future events and opportunities.
