Grants of $10,000 and in-kind services to USA and Puerto Rico eBay sellers for business development. Funding is intended to support operations and expansion for small, highly-rated eBay businesses. In addition to a cash grant, selected grantees will receive coaching, education, and an additional stipend to apply for refurbished office equipment, technology, and tools.
To be eligible to participate in the Program, the business (“Entrant”) must meet all of the following criteria as of the first day of the Program Period:
- Must either be a new small business eBay seller, defined as signed up as an eBay business seller between July 26, 2022 and April 26, 2023, with active listings in the past 6 months; OR
- An existing eBay small business seller, defined as a minimum of $10,000 and maximum $500,000 per annum gross merchandise volume (“GMV”) and with active listings in the past 6 months and with seller rating that is “Above Standard” or “Top Rated”;
- Must not be a recipient of any previous rounds of the eBay Up and Running program.
To be eligible to enter a business in the Program, you (“Officer”) must be all of the following as of the first day of the Program Period (defined below):
- An entrepreneur who is the leading executive (i.e. Founder and/or President, CEO, CFO, COO, or any such other similar title) of a business that meets the below business criteria;
- A legal resident of one of the fifty United States, the District of Columbia, or Puerto Rico;
- Eighteen (18) years of age or older (19 in AL and NE).

The eBay Up & Running Grants program will award 50 eBay business sellers with grant packages.
Estimated Size of Grant
Grant packages include cash, eBay education and coaching, and more:
- Grant Recipients will receive a $10,000 (USD) unrestricted grant to be used for the benefit of the Grant Recipient’s business.
- Grant Recipients will receive (i) a stipend worth up to $500 to apply to eBay Refurbished office equipment, technology and/or tools and (ii), eBay Academy and Growth Advisor benefits.
- Each Grant Recipient may receive recognition on the Hello Alice and/or eBay platforms.
