Grants of $1,000 to USA, Canada, and International qualifying high school educators for experience-based learning programs. Funding is intended to support programs that engage students in hands-on educational experiences, encourage academic inquiry, and hone professional and intellectual skills. Funded programs will promote interdisciplinary learning, civic engagement, career development, cultural awareness, leadership, and other skills. Requests will be accepted from high school educators who are members of the funding source and are currently working within a public or private high school in the United States or abroad.
Deadline to apply: Tuesday, August 15, 2023 by 11:59 PM EST
Applicants are typically notified roughly 6-8 weeks following each grant deadline.
To apply, you must be registered as an Educator. (See registration page in Additional Eligibility Information above.) Once registered, click the "Grants" link at the top of your dashboard. If you are already registered as an Educator with NSHSS, simply log in to your dashboard to apply.
Applications must include a principal/administrator recommendation.
NSHSS educators are eligible to receive one NSHSS grant per academic year.
