Grants to Maine, Connecticut, Vermont, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Rhode Island nonprofit organizations for historic preservation initiatives and projects. Funding is intended for organizations whose main mission is heritage preservation, which includes activities such as saving buildings, landscapes, collections, and stories from the past until today to share with the public.
Areas of Focus:
Applicants should seek funding for inclusive heritage preservation projects and initiatives that advance understanding of the full story of their community’s people, places, and history.
Applications requesting seed money to begin a project or initiative should include a full project description, timeline, and milestones for completion of the project.
Consulting fees directly related to successful completion of a project or initiative are fundable.
Applications will be accepted from 501(c)3 organizations based in New England whose primary mission is heritage preservation.
