Grants of up to $50,000 to Rhode Island nonprofits for mental health programs and counseling services. Funding is intended for programs that identify, track, and treat participants who have an unaddressed need for care coordination. The goal of the program is to serve children and adults with behavioral and mental health issues such as depression, anxiety, and conduct disorders. Preference will be given to new programs or services addressing critical gaps in unmet needs or a substantial increase in proven programs.
Applicants must be a 501(c)3 Rhode Island nonprofit in good financial standing; grants will be awarded to organizations, not individuals.
Ineligible
The Foundation discourages organizations from submitting proposals that focus directly/solely on staff hires or salary and benefit budget relief.
Pre-Application Information
The deadline for submissions is May 28.
Note: Grant applications require a 60-day review and assessment, with additional time possible for a site visit (particularly for new applicants). Please plan accordingly.
