Eligible applicants are American Institute of Architects (AIA) members who have been licensed to practice architecture for fewer than 10 years, Assoc. AIA members, or members of the American Institute of Architecture Students (AIAS).

Fellowships to USA, Canada, and International individuals with professional leadership experience in energy and food systems to expand their knowledge and leadership capacity. This program is intended to provide networking opportunities and teach skills to elected officials, advocacy group leaders, topic experts, and others to address issues related to energy and food systems.

Grants of up to $90,000 to Rhode Island primary care training sites for workforce development in the healthcare sector. Funding is intended to strengthen clinical training capacity and help offset the costs of precepting medical, nursing, and physician assistant students. By supporting community-based primary care practices and preceptors, the program creates high-quality training opportunities for medical students, residents, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants.

Fellowship to a USA, Canada, or International female professional journalist for social justice and human rights studies. The goal of the program is to provide an opportunity for research and internships with major print media outlets. The Fellow will have input in the design of their academic and internship schedules.

Opportunity for USA and territories high school students to participate in a video contest about science. Awards are intended to highlight teen involvement and interest in science. Winners will have the chance to meet with scientists, tour a federal science campus, and network.

Grant of $1,000 to a USA school or school district for health-related activities for students and their families. Funding is intended for health education, fitness, taste tests of healthy foods, general wellness, school gardens, playground refurbishment, and more. All activities should have a family engagement component.

Grants to USA and territories nonprofit and for-profit organizations, government agencies, and tribal entities to increase the availability of internet services in rural communities throughout the country. Applicants are advised that required registrations may take several weeks to complete. Funding is intended to promote the expansion of broadband networks that provide services on a community-oriented connectivity basis in rural areas.

Grants of $5,000 to USA visual artists over the age of 60 for artwork preservation and historical documentation. Funding is intended to help visual artists initiate new work or a special project, create a website, acquire studio space, catalog their art or their history, publish a catalog, archive and store their work, or show their work at an exhibition.

Grants to USA medical and allied health professional schools, healthcare institutions, professional organizations, medical education companies, and other healthcare entities to improve education of health professionals related to migraines. The purpose of the program is to improve the management, care, and outcomes of adult patients being treated for this condition. Funding is intended to support educational activities benefiting healthcare professionals involved in the care of people living with migraines.

Grants to USA nonprofit organizations, institutions of higher learning, and local education agencies for research activities and projects related to Veterans' cemeteries. Funding is intended to support research studies related to national, state, or Tribal Veterans’ cemeteries; produce educational materials that teach about the history of Veterans interred in national, State, or Tribal Veterans’ cemeteries; and promote community engagement with the histories of Veterans interred in national, State, or Tribal Veterans’ cemeteries.
